These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your use of services provided by Mariana Ferreira, a certified Health Coach (“Coach”, “we,” “our,” or “us”), and form a legal agreement between the client (“you” or “Client”) and Mariana Ferreira.

By purchasing or participating in any coaching services, programs, or digital products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Services

Mariana Ferreira provides health coaching, wellness education, lifestyle strategies, and personalized guidance to support overall well-being. Services may include:

• One-on-one coaching sessions

• Personalized action plans

• Intake assessments and wellness tracking

• Digital workbooks, templates, or tools

• Email and messaging support (as specified per package)

2. Client Eligibility

To participate in coaching, you must be:

• At least 18 years old

• Willing and able to take full responsibility for your health decisions

• Not seeking diagnosis, treatment, or therapy for medical or mental health conditions

If you are under the care of a healthcare provider, you agree to consult with them before implementing any changes.

3. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through a combination of:

• Paythen – the platform used to manage and display flexible payment plans and subscription options; and

• Stripe – the secure payment processor that handles all underlying financial transactions.

By purchasing a coaching package or digital product, you agree to:

• Pay the total amount as outlined (either in full or via a Paythen payment plan)

• Authorize Stripe to charge your card or payment method securely

• Keep your payment details accurate and up to date

• Complete the full payment plan as agreed (if applicable)

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Stripe handles all transactions in compliance with industry-standard encryption and security protocols

• We do not store or have access to your full credit card or banking information

• Missed or failed payments may result in paused access to services until resolved

4. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

• All coaching purchases are non-refundable once sessions begin or intake has been submitted.

• Digital products and templates are non-refundable.

• If you are unsatisfied, please contact us to discuss adjustments or alternative support options.

5. Scheduling & Cancellations

• Coaching sessions are scheduled via Google Calendar

• You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling.

• Sessions missed without notice are forfeited and not refundable or transferable.

• If the Coach must reschedule, adequate notice will be given and the session will be promptly rebooked.

6. Client Responsibilities

As a coaching client, you agree to:

• Be honest, open, and committed to the process

• Attend sessions on time

• Complete action steps or reflection exercises as agreed

• Communicate any challenges or concerns proactively

• Take full responsibility for your decisions and results

7. Confidentiality

All personal and health-related information you share is treated with strict confidentiality.

• Coaching notes, assessments, and session content are only accessible to you and Mariana Ferreira.

• Data is stored securely and never shared with third parties unless required by law or with your written consent.

8. Communication Between Sessions

Support between sessions may be available via:

• Email (within 1–2 business days response time)

• Notion through Client Portal

Boundaries apply: Messaging is not for emergencies or continuous therapy-style support. Coach will reply during working hours only.

9. Intellectual Property

All content shared during the coaching relationship — including worksheets, resources, frameworks, and tools — is owned by Mariana Ferreira and may not be:

• Reproduced

• Shared

• Sold

• Used for commercial purposes

without express written permission.

10. Health Disclaimer

Mariana Ferreira is a certified Health Coach, not a licensed physician, therapist, or nutritionist.
Coaching services are intended for educational and informational purposes only.

You understand and agree:

• Coaching is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition

• Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment

• You are solely responsible for your health decisions and outcomes

• Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making health changes

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from your participation in coaching or use of our website/products.

• You agree to hold Mariana Ferreira harmless from any claims, costs, or liabilities related to your participation.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the coaching relationship if:

• You violate these terms

• There is a breakdown in trust or communication

• Continued coaching is not appropriate or ethical

Any remaining prepaid sessions will be refunded at our discretion if no breach occurred.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada / Ontario.

Any disputes arising shall be resolved through informal negotiation first, and if needed, via mediation or arbitration in the Coach’s jurisdiction.

14. Agreement Acknowledgment

By signing up for coaching or accessing services, you acknowledge:

• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service

• You understand your rights and responsibilities as a client

• You consent to this agreement voluntarily and with full capacity
